The differential was really coated with old thick black goo
These pictures are after some initial cleaning and still look terrible
A full disassembly was needed to get it cleaned, I kept it in order to get it back as it had been
The empty housing all cleaned up
The torque tube and pinion shaft have to be assembled before installing and adjusting the differential
The frame rails were really coated with thick hardened greasy dirt
They cleaned up nice but I didn't take a picture until they were painted
The inside was painted a few days before the side that faces the world
