This one has had a replacement plug wire attachment

The under side of the cap, Spring mounted Graphite brushes

There is a built in Safety Gap
One rotor contact is up ready to go to a spark plug the other is pointed down at a screw head

The points are up front on the top, the condensor is nearly hidden behind the front cover

This one works great and I haven't had to do much with it

This is not a common mag and doesn't have many available parts

I posed the FMX4B3 with an FMJ so the difference could more easily be seen
They share a common outer cap but the inner cap is shorter on the FMX

The FMX can be opened up without having to mesh gears properly
since the gear is not mounted in the cap

This coil has had a lot of sparks go through the insulation to the inner of the housing
The tractor it was on probably didn't run well for a long time

Here we see an impulse coupler inner plate that can be installed as either 25° or 30°

The mag on the left has the wrong impulse coupler for a Flange Mount - UA vs UB
Base mount UA has 1/4" wide lugs and Flange Mount UB has 5/16" wide lugs

Even these can get out of hand if one lets them pile up
