The two halves and the 4 balls, I hope to use these on my Industrial D17 if I ever get back to it
And what the friction material looked like
All these joints are supposed to move, none of them do. The mice have seen to that.
The lower pin is already threaded so I fashioned a bolt to attach the brake-pin puller
The Agrimson puller pulled them out without too much trouble
The brake rod and the piece it threads into needed to be replaced
The cotterpins and hinge pins all needed to be driven out and thoroughly cleaned
Anti-sieze liberally applied to moving parts when reassembled with new bands and springs
Ready for the final drive to be reinstalled
The front ram mount back in place
The left side was just as rusted and non-moving on every hinge
The new bands as seen from the top. Anti-sieze on the top pin as well
I already had new parts for everything from my stalled D17 Industrial project
