It was decided to put on a new rear crankshaft seal
Seal in place with a new gasket and some assembly lube on the seal
The engine at TDC #1, the 25 degree BTDC is stamped in on the front pulley
The worst of the mouse nest was right where the flywheel timing marks should be
The pitting on the resurfaced flywheel is outside of the friction plate area
The alignment tool holds the friction plate in place
I marked TDC and 25 degrees BTDC where I thought they should be
Release fingers verified to be 1.3125" from the plate
And rolled back together
The generator was rebuilt by Neal Gaarder, back on with a new fan belt
