I thought I would adjust the rocker arms, but found they needed a good cleaning
Both sides had a homemade oil shield
Disassembly was necessary for cleaning
Back together with assembly lube and adjusted
The cover really needed a cleaning and looks good in new Persian Orange
The Air Cleaner had also been hit and was bent and repaired with perhaps roof coating
With the sealant removed we can see it took a significant hit
The Air Cleaner oil cup cleaned up really nice
The cap had already been replaced with a nice one, here cup and cap in fresh Persian Orange
The air cleaner internals look nice as well
Thick paint needed to be chipped away to remove this nifty wrench
It took some serious cleaning to get the ratchet free of paint and moving freely
A new coat of paint being careful not to get any in the moving parts
Back in place again
