A new set of fenders purchased back in 2009 and never used came to mind.

They haven't been out in the light for many years.

They needed holes drilled for tail lights and wiring. After drilling and some sanding they got some new primer.

And then the Persian Orange.

I mounted the lights and pulled the wires through the channel before I mounted the fenders.

Only front and rear attachment bolts get large reinforcing washers, later series had them on all three. I'll add the other one if I find a couple.

The tail lights are very red and bright with red LED tail light bulbs.

The brakes did not work well, the first side came out without breaking anything. The brake rod fought all the way out even with ample penetrating oil I was afraid it was going to break.

There was quite a bit of mouse nest in both sides, the air hose and shop vac made them look better.
