Gary Agrimson made me a great tool for removing old and installing new clutch shaft bushings.

It fits like a glove and works like it's made for it.

What the new bushings look like before I greased it up

Back on the tractor it is ready for service

The oil filter mount leaked and made a mess. I removed it and found it needed the mounting surface sanded flat and a new gasket.

The replacement seat we got had several cracks and rust holes, I welded them up and ground them back smooth, I forgot to get a before picture.

Sometimes the toughest part of rebuilding the seat mechanism is disassembly. The hinge rods get really rusted in place,
Gary took this one apart and installed the new brass bushings. So I just had to do the final cleaning and paint prep.

There are a lot of parts to the adjustable seat

Assembled and back in place, here in the lower position

And here in the raised position

What it looks like from the rear, the shock absorber can be adjusted for firmness.

It flips forward to keep the seat dry when outside in the rain
