1956 Allis-Chalmers WD45 Diesel
This came home with me from an auction, it is a bit of an oddball
Fenders from a 170, Roosa Master injection pump from a D19
Tractor number WD220698D
Authentic 45 Diesel replacement block from 1963
The pump required the timing gear cover from the D19 as well
To gravity feed the pump the filters that are normally under the hood had to be lowered
It has WD45 factory power steering, a dry air filter from something, and a D19 manifold
To fit the dry air cleaner the power steering tank got moved up front
The other tractors on the sale were all modified, here is a WD with a Gleaner six cylinder
< And another Gleaner six cylinder in a WC
This early 1934 WC got a V8
With fenders and gas tank from something much newer
The hood is from a Gleaner
The oner was 83 and got up on everything and started them
He said his dad bought this one new, not sure what was done to get two mufflers
Another Gleaner six cylinder in a nicely done reverse loader
Serial Number WD220698D The engine block was replaced, no S/N but has a casting date of 10 28 63
