The distributor needed a good cleaning - one advance spring was broken, it will need a new pair
Cleaned and waiting for springs, points, condenser, rotor and distributor cap
New advance springs arrived from The Brillman Company
After dumping out water from the air cleaner oil cup and wiping it clean there was a pin-hole leaking.
So I bead blasted the whole cup, soldered the hole and repainted it inside and out.
The fuel cap will need a new gasket
With the new wiring done the lights work when the switch is pulled
The head back on after getting the new head gasket and new radiator hoses
It needed a new temp gauge
It started as if it had run yesterday, and it runs quite well
There is a problem though, it oozes oil out the front of the oil pan gasket while running
