S/N WC131742S indicates a it's a 1944
Some 1944 to 1946 WCs had this "War-Year" pressed steel rear end
The rear-end as it looked when we rolled it out of the barn
A little steel wool and see how it shines :-)

:-( Not all was well when the rear end was opened :-(
:-) But now we have this great lawn ornament! :-)
