The old radiator leaked bad and was rotted out on the lower right side, a new one was needed
The upper connection on the new radiator left a lot to be desired
It should angle toward the thermostat
And the overflow was up too high for a proper hood fit
The neck depth should be 1" like my CA in the first image the new one is only .8" so a cap will not fit
I modified an old cap I had by cutting off a couple windings from the spring to make it fit
The temp gage mount should be straight back but is angled to the right
so the hood cannot line up with its mounting holes
I was afraid to open this compartment as it is often home to mice when these sit outside a few years
Getting too close to this part of the tractor smelled too much like mouse nest not to check
The front side of the flywheel was full too
It cleaned up better than I thought it would, and with a bit of lube it looks like this
The old battery I was working with was not holding a charge so I put a magneto on it
