I finally had a good weather day to get the worst of the two fenders blasted with the outdoor blaster

First all the rivet holes were lined up and bolted to hold everything where it needs to be. Then clamping every couple of inches I welded the two big pieces together.

I'm thinking to remove one bolt at a time and rivet the holes in succession.

The second fender only needed clamping and welding in a few places since most of the original spot welds were still holding. Then a quick blasting outdoors.

I painted the areas behind the bracing and bolted it together

Both fenders are primed and ready for rivets, then the Persian Orange.
